About Maria's Café

We roast with Mountain Brew and buy our vegetables from farms in La Trinidad and Atok. The breakfast plate has been the same since we opened because people keep ordering it. Wi-Fi is free and the corner table by the window is the good one.

The barako is the real thing
Ordered it black expecting the usual. It is not the usual. Strong enough that I skipped the second cup, which for me is saying something.

Sourdough worth the walk up
I come down from Trancoville for the loaf. Crust is proper, crumb is open, and it keeps three days without going to stone.
Reply from the business: Salamat Maricel. Friday bake is the biggest if you want a spare.

Carbonara was excellent. Getting a table at half twelve on a weekday is another matter — go at two.
